Over the three day weekend, the Celtic came out with the title in the Cal Cup Tournament. They started off the weekend with a 3-3 tie against the tough San Ramon Force. Next came Vacaville America. Celtic was able to put up a 5-0 shutout against them. The next morning they had to face the hosting team in the tournament San Juan Lightning White. Celtic shut them out as well with a 2-0 victory. In the afternoon the boys played the De Anza Titans and needed a win to move on. The game came out to be a tie but luckly they moved on by a red card from De Anza. In the finals on Monday, Santa Rosa and Burlingame Juventus battled it out for the title. At the end of the second half it was tied 0-0 and it went into goalden goal. It then came down to pk’s where the Celtic came out on top 4-3.
