Santa Rosa United Fury placed 2nd in the Gold Division against Sunnyvale Alliance SC Topgun. They tied in the regulation period, 2 to 2, and eventually lost to penalty kicks. It was a good weekend for the girls. Keep up the good work!!!

The Fury won all 4 games and outscored all their opponets 12 to 2 to win the Championship in the Stanford Winter Turf U13 Silver Division. In the first game, Fury defeated the Cal Cougars 2-0 with goals by Val and Maddie. Then the Fury defeated Sunnyvale SC United in the second game 3-1 with 2 goals scored by Piper and one by Amy. On Sunday Fury played the MVLA Cobras and won 3-1. Goals were scored by Yasmine, Maddie, and Maya. On Sunday the Fury met up with their Windsor neighbors, SCA North, in the Championship game. Faith scored the first goal and Amy had the second goal off a pass from Piper. After Maya was fouled in the box, Maddie took the pk and scored. Then Maya scored the last goal against SCA off a pass from Piper. Final score 4-0. Awesome defending from Keira, Yasmine, Kathleen, Gabby, Hannah, and our wonderful goalie Gloria. Congratulations to all of the Fury players - Val, Maddie, Piper, Amy, Yasmine, Maya, Faith, Kiera, Gabby, Kathleen, Hannah, Bianca, Gianna, and Gloria.
